Over memorial day week-end Rob and I took the whole family camping. Heather and Bud had their own tent (the one we used prior to buying our camper) and Nick used the screen tent to sleep in. Ashley came up for a day of two but had to leave because of work. We went kayaking, boating, sun bathing, and played horse shoes.. Over all it was a really great week end.

Red necking with Rob
Rob and I went "red-necking" today... He talked me into going to a mud bog with him. Wow it was interesting and some of the trucks were huge, boy was it dusty... When we left I felt like I was covered in layers and layers of dust.. Rob was telling me how I didn't need to worry about being "hit" by any mud and as he said this a blob of mud flew over us and landed in his tee- shirt pocket. I never laughed as hard at him as I did then- he also thought is was funny... I got a good start on my summer tan and Rob had a really good time- although we were both out of our element. So here's to a muddy rednecking time with my hubby...

Life so far this summer
School is out and they say summer has begun... The weather here is funny: one day it's cold the next it's warm.. God really has a good sense of humor. I am going back to work- only three days a week but it's better than sitting at home. My leg is doing great- a little achy at times but I will be okay... I have decided to add a minor to my college degree. It's in religious studies and I am so looking forward to taking the classes. So I'll graduate with a BS degree in Psychology and a minor in Religious Studies.... Yeah I know it will be a lot of work but I'm looking forward to it a lot... Sherri
